David Brown, MSW, is the co-founder and President of Family Initiative. David has worked to create a thriving nonprofit organization in Florida, serving
children and adults with autism spectrum disorder, as well as families engaged by the child welfare system.
David has more than two decades of experience serving in the child welfare system and helping children and families in need. He has served on the management team of a community-based care lead agency after decades of working with families in various roles.
In his role as Quality Parenting Initiative Program Coordinator for the Youth Law Center, David worked across the nation with foster families, child welfare leaders, and stakeholders around the United States to build a collaborative environment for children in need.
Anjali Van Drie, MA, MSW, BCBA is the co-founder and Vice President of Family Initiative, Inc.
Anjali has worked in the field of child welfare for over a decade, collaboratively with community- based care agencies, and with thousands of families across Florida.
She has been a Nationally Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2008 and has led presentations around the state and across the country to educate parents and professionals on best practices.
Anjali also consults with several school districts, providing clinical training and feedback to support children in need. She is the recipient of the 2018 Florida Association of Behavior Analysis Charles Kimber Public Service Award for the Advancement of Behavior Analysis in the Community.
