Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Lee County and Surrounding areas
Lead clinician for in home and community services working primarily with children and teens with Autism. Responsible for completing assessments, writing behavior plans, training & supervision of RBTs, and oversight of cases. Other duties include community trainings, staff development, program participation and development. Medicaid provider number preferred. Salary range $75,000 – $100,000.
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Pasco-Pinellas County
Lead clinician for in home and community services providing support for licensed foster families. The BCBA will support, communicate, and assist substitute caregivers by providing training and behavioral support utilizing an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) approach. Further, the BCBA will work in conjunction with child welfare case management staff and foster care licensing staff to assist in maintaining child safety and well-being. Medicaid number NOT required Responsible for completing assessments and behavior plans, training & supervision of RBTs, and oversight of cases. This position requires close collaboration with other professionals and working with children who have experienced complex developmental trauma. Salary range $75,000 – $100,000.

Registered Behavior Technician (Multiple Locations)

Clinician for in home and community services working primarily with children and teens with Autism under the supervision of a lead clinician. The RBT will work alongside the family to implement the behavior plan, collect and enter data, and document services. The RBT will also participate in community programs and other events. Range $20/hour – $25/hour.

Responsible for completing evaluations, writing treatment plans, training and supervision of COTAs and oversight of cases. Other trainings include community trainings, staff development, program participation and development. Medicaid provider number preferred. Salary range $70,000-85,000.
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Lee County and surrounding areas
Clinician for in home and community working primarily with children and teens with Autism under the supervision of lead OT. The COTA will work with client on treatment plan goals and document services. The COTA will also participate in community programs and other events. Salary range $25-30.

Public Information Officer (PIO)
Southwest Florida
The Public Information Officer (PIO) serves as the lead media contact for and serves a vital role in advancing the mission of Family Initiative. This role manages press releases, interviews, and public statements that align with neurodiversity affirming values while cultivating relationships with journalists and media outlets. The PIO also develops and promotes public education campaigns, such as Autism Acceptance Month, and creates engaging content for newsletters, blogs, websites, and social media. In addition, the position provides strategic communication support during crises, legislative issues, or community incidents to ensure accurate and sensitive messaging. By monitoring media coverage and public discourse, the PIO identifies opportunities for advocacy, education, and engagement while analyzing communication outcomes to strengthen future strategies.
Community Engagement and Event Assistant
Southwest Florida
The Community Engagement and Event Assistant supports Family Initiative’s mission by planning and coordinating inclusive community events and outreach initiatives. This role assists with event logistics, including vendor coordination, registration, supplies, and volunteer support, ensuring that supporters are well-supported and events run smoothly. The assistant represents the organization at community gatherings, builds partnerships with local organizations, and designs outreach materials and promotional content using Canva. They also support event promotion through collaboration with the communications team and maintain accurate records of participants, volunteers, and outcomes. By combining event planning, outreach, and administrative support, this position strengthens community connections and the mission of Family Initiative.
