Jessica Wisdom adds fundraising, marketing, and relationship management expertise at Family Initiative.

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — October 27, 2021 —Family Initiative, an autism and child welfare community services organization based in Cape Coral, Florida, has named Jessica Wisdom as its Development Director. Wisdom joins the Family Initiative team to support families through innovation and compassion throughout Southwest Florida.

As Development Director at Family Initiative, Wisdom is responsible for building strong relationships with the organization’s donors, supporters, and influencers. “We’re thrilled to welcome Jessica to our leadership team,” remarked Family Initiative President David Brown, MSW. “Her strategic approach, nonprofit leadership expertise, and passion for connecting people to the causes they care about greatly enhances our ability to drive the Family Initiative mission forward in service to hundreds of kids and families.”

Wisdom received a degree in Political Science at the University of Central Florida and spent the beginning of her career in political fundraising. She brings over 15 years of experience in fundraising, development, marketing, strategy and relationship management. For the last six years Wisdom served as Director of Development & Marketing for Alliance for the Arts in Fort Myers, where she worked with Family Initiative leadership through their collaborative ArtPlay for Artists with Autism program.
