Child Welfare Caregiver Education & Training
In partnership with local child‑welfare agencies, our caregiver training forums equip foster parents and kinship caregivers with practical, trauma‑responsive tools to support their child’s emotional and behavioral needs. We use Trust‑Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), an evidence‑based, attachment‑centered approach designed for children who have experienced trauma. TBRI focuses on three core principles:

Empowerment: meeting physical, sensory, and regulatory needs so children feel safe in their environment

Connection: strengthening attachment through nurturing interactions that build trust

Correction: guiding behavior with calm, responsive strategies that reduce fear and support healthy regulation
